The club prioritises the physical, emotional and psychological safety of all members, regardless of age, race, gender, ability, cultural background or sexuality.
Adelaide Masters has 2 Members Protection Information Officers (MPIOs), Betty Reinboth and Jeffrey Sheridan. They can be contacted directly if you have their phone number (you can find this in the WhatsApp chat if you’re on it) or email. You can also access them by emailing adelaidemastersswimming@gmail.com for their details; just be aware that multiple committee members have access to the club emails.
The MPIOs are trained, impartial persons within the club who acts as the first point of contact for complaints, concerns, or inquiries regarding harassment, abuse, or discrimination. They provide confidential information, support, and options regarding rights and responsibilities but do not investigate, mediate, or resolve complaints.
